Quick question. Why did He-Man even have a secret identity again? To protect his loved ones? They were all already targets for Skeletor and his cronies, so that's a nope. Because his parents wouldn't have let him fight otherwise? I don't really remember them much, but why would a medieval-styled king not want his son to be a warrior?

Rarity be damned, I have to say: YES TO SPOILER!

DC's issues with Stephanie Brown can go straight to hell.

Though with all the Bat-characters: Batman, Robin, Nightwing, Batwoman, Batgirl, Oracle, Batwing, Spoiler, Huntress, etc. maybe there should be a mini-Bat Legion within the Justice League?

Flagg would be tricky to work into the team, yeah. I expect he'd be given the standard Mission Impossible-style warning: "If you get caught, you will be branded a traitor and the government will disavow any knowledge of your activities."

Vandal Savage would probably be the best fit for the evil dictator guy, mostly because Grodd or Black Adam would take a bit too much explaining, and they really belong in a Flash or Captain Marvel movie. Plus it just adds an extra level of screwed to Suicide Squad's mission if they're sent to kill a man whose superpower is that he can't die.

"A Case of Zebra Fevah!" AKA "A Health of Information."

HOPING TO SEE: Zecora being cared for by her friends. She's always depicted so strong and sure, it will be fun and endearing to see her in a position where other ponies get to show their appreciation by helping her back.

DREADING TO SEE: Zecora staying alone in her cot to avoid infecting others. Sensible, but not exactly fun. Even worse, it most likely means giving her minimal scenes, since there's not much point seeing her lying alone in bed doing nothing.

HOPING TO SEE: Fluttershy braving the Everfree with her animal companions for company, instead of her friends in her quest for a cure. Sure, it sounds insane to think we'd rather watch a bunch of nondescript beasts over our beloved mane six, but it's high time those freeloading critters paid her back for all her efforts. Plus, that cute giraffe might join in.
DREADING TO SEE: Fluttershy braving the Everfree with her animal companions for company, instead of her friends in her quest for a cure. And they useless and sucky.

HOPING TO SEE: New and fascinating creatures of the Everfree. Dodgy tricksters. Gruff protectors. Nightmare fuel. The works.
DREADING TO SEE: Fluttershy just fleeing from one scary mute monster to another, with no intrigue or wonder.

Of course, that's assuming Fluttershy goes into the Everfree at all, but if not, what other course would the story take to see her find a cure? Raiding a library for 20 minutes? God, I hope not.

I guess I'm just not as impressed by her resume. Sure, cheetahs are pretty cool, but as gods go, I wouldn't put 'goddess of cheetahs' at the same level as, say, 'sun goddess', or 'goddess of the ocean', or 'goddess of war'. Cheetah's just aren't... cosmic enough to be impressive. Also, let's face it. A goddess of hippos would be infinitely more fearsome.

So far, only Applejack and Rainbow Dash's parents have gotten an episode that really explored them. Sure, we got a small taste of Fluttershy and Rarity's parents, but nothing really substantial. So what do you think would make for a good story direction on episodes that explored the Main Six's parents?

Cookie Crumbles and Magnum:
Rarity invites her parents to a posh party which will feature a showing of her new clothes lineup. When they hear some rude art critiquers trash talk Rarity, however, they get into a loud argument that disrupts the party, forcing Rarity to intervene and try to quiet them. This puzzles them, seeing as how in their minds they were only defending their daughter's honor. Seeing an opportunity for revenge, Suri Polomare tries to convince them that Rarity is embarrassed of them.

Mr and Mrs Shy:
Discord and Fluttershy share a nice dinner at her cottage with her visiting parents, but when Fluttershy is called away to help her friends in a new adventure, Discord and Flutterparents are forced to make awkward conversation in her absence. In their nervousness, the parents confess that not only do they admire their daughter's new assertiveness, but kinda envy her adventures too. Discord, not one to miss an opportunity for mischief, and believing this will somehow help him stay in Fluttershy's good graces, whisks her parents off on a weird and exciting adventure of their own! Fluttershy is... not quite as happy as Discord might have hoped.

Night Light and Twilight Velvet:
On a visit to her castle, Night Light and Velvet are not shy about gushing how proud they both are of Twilight. Twi takes it all in good grace, until one of them accidentally lets it slip that they helped her get to where she is by using methods that were a teeny bit shady, like cashing in Canterlot favors to get her application through into Celestia's school, and claiming health problems to get her out of gym class, so as to keep her overall score up. Twi does not take this well, wondering if all her achievements are a lie somehow.

Bow Hot Hoof and Windy Whistles:
When Scootaloo enters a Junior Iron Pony competition, Rainbow Dash agrees to be her coach, while her parents are quick to be there to cheer her on. Things start becoming problematic when Bow and Windy begin to praise Scoots on the very things that Rainbow says Scootaloo has to improve on. Scootaloo begins to feel guilty for accepting their praise, and when Bow and Windy pick up on this, they plead with Rainbow to go easier on her. Rainbow argues that she's doing what Scootaloo wants. Now Scoots feels like the cause of a rift between her favorite ponies, but can she fix the situation before it gets worse?

Cloudy Quartz and Igneous Rock Pie:
While trekking through the Everfree Forest in order to visit their daughters in Ponyville, Igneous and Cloudy run into a batch of poison joke, which turns them into insatiable party animals. While Maud goes off to fetch Zecora, Pinkie is left in charge of keeping her parents busy and out of trouble. After they recover, Cloudy and Igneous realize that they never felt Pinkie as comfortable and lively with them as they did when under the influence of poison joke. Now they wonder, should they try to embrace a more garrulent and hedonistic mentality for their daughter's sake, or should they accept her insistent assurances that she loves them just as they are?

Pear Butter and Bright Mac:
I'm.. stumped on this one, guys. I can't think of a good way to explore their relationship with their children to save my life. Any ideas?

Superman

Regarding the immigrant thing, I always thought the revamp with him being technically 'born' on Earth because his matrix blah blah blah was pretty stupid. He is more interesting and intriguing as an outsider trying to learn and earn his place in another world. Not to mention that it's just that much more tragic for his parents to send their baby off than sending their zygote off, or whatever.

I definitely like the idea of seeing his involvement, or refusal to involve, in foreign wars. I mean, I can't imagine him just standing aside while civilians are shot down, but I can also acknowledge that as a smart, world-savvy reporter he's not so naive as to fail to see the dangers of getting involved too much. And a war... this might actually be an ideal situation for him to show how Clark Kent might be able to help more than Superman, as a war correspondant. Though even that would still leave him with horrible moral dilemmas. Should he hide or reveal information he uncovers that might make the conflict even worse?
